What is Success ?

What is Success ?

Is it merely a fluke that happens once in a while, or is it something else entirely?

Everything that happens to you serves both as a challenge and an opportunity. Look for the bright side of life, even in the most difficult circumstances. There is something good disguised in every bad thing; it just takes a little time to realize it.

Think of an unpleasant experience in the past and turn it around.

In William Shakespeare’s tragedy, Hamlet there is this line -
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." Act II, Scene 2

List at least 5 situations in your life that you initially believed to be terrible but later realized yielded a positive outcome.

Tenacity is more important than talent, intelligence, and strategy. Never giving up is a tremendous virtue. When things don't go as planned, keep going forward, no matter how little your steps are. Patience and perseverance are the top two characteristics that will determine success or failure, actual change or staying in the same spot.

Be patient when you meet difficulties, and hurdles. Be patient when you face a setback. Patience is required when nothing noticeable is happening.

Don't abandon your goal at the first hint of adversity or difficulty. Consider Thomas Edison's 10,000 attempts to create the light bulb. Like him, you can fail your way to success!

Persistence is a state of mind. Develop it. Cultivate it. Nurture it.

In the words of Napoleon Hill-"Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit."

Personal progress requires a permanent condition of being slightly uncomfortable. Make a habit of doing things that others are hesitant to do. You must choose to do what is necessary, regardless of the inconvenience! That involves forgiving instead of carrying a grudge, going the extra mile instead of declaring it can't be done, and accepting full responsibility for your actions rather than blaming others.

You are what you tell yourself all day! Your inner dialogue is similar to a hypnotist's repeated suggestions. Do you whine a lot? What exactly is the story you're telling yourself?

Your inner dialogue has a significant influence on your self-esteem. So be cautious about how you describe yourself. Please pay attention to what you desire.

Keep in mind that your words, particularly the questions you ask yourself, have a significant impact on your reality.
